The Regional State Archives in Visby invites the public to a “Bring Your History Day”

“Bring Your History Day”- Participate with your memories, photographs and documents in the new Topotek Gotland!

The “Topotek Gotland” is a new website that is going to be filled with memories, photographs and documents from the isle. Now the Regional State Archives invites everyone to

participate:  the public as well as associations are warmly invited to publish their photographs and documents in the Topotek to make these historical material visible to the public. Pictures and documents from everyday life are an important part of Gotland’s cultural heritage. Come and share your material and memories!

During one afternoon there will be a presentation on the Topotek, introducing the functionalities of the service tool “Topotheque” and teaching about how to upload material.

Not be able to participate in person? You can also get in touch with the Regional State Archives directly – they are also looking for volunteers that want to help them develop the Topotek, for example upload and identify photographs.
